major SD vaccine
a deep purple viscous liquid is suspended within the glass chamber of a brass syringe attached to which is a vicious-looking hypodermic needle
By injecting this vaccine, the effects of the Slavering Death are suspended for a number of days equal to 1+ the victims Con modifier (minimum 1 day). During this period the disease will not progress any worse and the victim will appear to have stabilised and can act normally (any ability damage will remain unless magically removed). If someone injects this vaccine prior to contracting the disease, they will be immune to the disease whilst under the vaccine’s effects (bear in mind they can still be a carrier for the disease if they are exposed to infected victims as the plague virus can be transmitted to the user’s clothes, skin/hair etc).
The anti-psionic reagant dosage is increased in this vaccine compared to the minor version and the imbiber must make a DC 12 Fort save each hour under its effects or lose one Power Point. A non-psionic creature will instead take a -2 alchemical penalty to all saving throws to resist any psionic effect whilst under the effects of the vaccine.
The needle needs to be injected into the body, dealing 1 point of damage which bypasses any DR the victim may posses. This damage can be negated by the injector making a DC 10 Heal check.

Dr Ozymandyas Lavergne has created this vaccine to help slow the effects of the Slavering Death, a psionic maladie which is gripping the city of Salamonis, in particular the quarantined Golden Circuit district. This particular version contains a very high dosage of the anti-psionic reagant and as such is only used on very serious cases as Dr. Lavergne believes that long-term exposure to this vaccine could cause mental damage to the patient.
In most cases the weaker vaccine will be used to prevent any mental damage to the patient.
